Cambridge welcomed over 300 visitors yesterday as part of the exciting Restaurant Tour UK experience, bringing together people from across the country to explore the city’s spectacular sights, vibrant atmosphere, and diverse food scene.
Golpo was incredibly proud to be one of only six restaurants selected to take part in the tour, serving guests one of our signature dishes alongside a refreshing drink. Throughout the day, we had the pleasure of welcoming so many new faces through our doors, sharing our Bengali inspired flavours, stories, and hospitality with visitors experiencing Cambridge in a truly unique way.
As Cambridge’s only Bengal focused restaurant, Golpo continues to celebrate the rich traditions of Bengali cuisine with a contemporary twist, offering dishes inspired by heritage, storytelling, and authentic flavours.
The event created a fantastic atmosphere across the city, allowing guests to discover not only the beauty and history of Cambridge, but also the incredible culinary diversity it has to offer. From sightseeing and exploring local landmarks to enjoying specially selected dishes from participating restaurants, the day was a wonderful celebration of culture, food, and community spirit.
